Assetli is designed for anyone who wants to stay on top of their finances — from individuals to couples and families to small investors. Whether you simply want to track income and expenses, or need advanced tools for investments, real estate, and financial planning, Assetli adapts to your needs.
Assetli is fully localized in 4 languages: English, Czech, German, and French. All content including the dashboard, email notifications, and documentation is fully translated. You can change the language at any time in your settings.
Assetli combines financial management with an AI assistant that understands your data and can answer questions about your finances. Unlike most apps, it offers complete wealth management — not just accounts and transactions, but also investments, real estate, vehicles, valuables, and mortgages. It also features unique capabilities like shared expenses, digital inheritance (Family Legacy), Claude Desktop integration via MCP, and advanced analytics with a financial health score.
Assetli is a web application fully optimized for mobile devices. It works in the browser on any device — phone, tablet, or computer — without any installation required. Simply open your browser and sign in.
Your data security is our top priority. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a high number of iterations. We offer two-factor authentication (2FA) through TOTP apps like Google Authenticator or Authy. Login is protected against brute-force attacks with automatic account lockout. No, absolutely not. Assetli operates exclusively in read-only mode. We do not have access to your banking credentials and cannot make any payments, transfers, or any operations on your accounts. Transaction import is done through CSV/PDF files that you upload, or through the secure Wallet by BudgetBakers integration, which also works in read-only mode only.
No. We never sell, share, or provide your financial data to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Your data belongs to you. Third parties (such as live stock or crypto price providers) only receive general market data queries, never your personal financial information. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Yes. We fully comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). You have the right to export all your data in JSON format, the right to erasure (complete deletion of your account and all data), and the right to rectify your information. All these rights can be exercised directly from your account settings without needing to contact support.
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. When logging in, you'll need a one-time code from an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.) in addition to your password. You can activate it in your account settings — simply scan the QR code and verify with the first code. You'll also receive 10 backup codes in case you lose access to your authenticator app.
Yes, Assetli offers a Free plan that is free forever. It includes 1 financial profile, 3 bank accounts, and 1,000 transactions. For advanced features, higher limits, and AI categorization, we offer Premium and Max plans. See current prices and plan comparisons on our Pricing page.
The Free plan includes basic financial management with 1 profile, 3 accounts, and 1,000 transactions. The Premium plan adds 3 profiles, 20 accounts, unlimited transactions, AI categorization, advanced reports, shared expenses, and CSV/PDF export. Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time without any fees or penalties. After cancellation, your Premium/Max plan will remain active until the end of the paid period. After that, your account will automatically switch to the Free plan. We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all Premium subscriptions.
We process payments securely through Stripe, which supports credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and other payment methods depending on your location. We never store your payment details on our servers — everything is processed directly by Stripe.
Your data remains safe. After switching to the Free plan, you'll still have access to all your data, but some advanced features (AI categorization, advanced reports) will be limited. If you exceed Free plan limits (number of accounts, transactions), you won't be able to add new items, but your existing data will be preserved.
You can import transactions in several ways: by uploading a CSV or PDF file from your internet banking (we support Air Bank, UniCredit, and Raiffeisenbank), by pasting raw text copied from your bank statement, or automatically through the Wallet by BudgetBakers integration, which supports approximately 100 Czech and European banks. The system automatically detects the format and checks for duplicates.
For direct CSV/PDF import, we support Air Bank, UniCredit, and Raiffeisenbank. Through the Wallet by BudgetBakers (WBB) integration, you can automatically sync transactions from approximately 100 Czech and European banks using Open Banking. Additionally, you can enter transactions from any bank manually or import via a generic CSV format.
Yes, Assetli offers comprehensive investment tracking. For stocks and ETFs, we support multiple broker accounts with live prices, dividends, and a tax tracker (3-year time test for the Czech Republic). For crypto, we offer 12+ trade types, FIFO/LIFO/HIFO methods, and live prices. You can also track alternative investments: P2P lending, crowdfunding, commodities, pension products, and savings products.
Bill Splitting is a feature similar to Splitwise. You can create groups (trips, household, events), add shared expenses with different split types (equal, percentage, exact amounts), and the system automatically calculates who owes whom. It includes group chat, comments, activity log, and the ability to share a group via link even with people without an Assetli account.
Family Legacy is a secure emergency access system for your financial data, designed for trusted persons (family, lawyer, accountant) in case of incapacity or death. Contacts are verified by email, access is protected by multi-layer security (reCAPTCHA, SMS, geographic restrictions), and notes for heirs are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. You can set up manual approval, automatic permission after inactivity (dead man's switch), or immediate access.
Yes. For real estate, you can track property values, rental income, expenses, utility meter readings, home appliances, photovoltaic systems, and link them to a mortgage. For vehicles, you can track mileage, fuel consumption, service events, operating costs, and total TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). Both sections have their own analytics and charts.
Assetli includes 6 financial calculators: mortgage calculator (with amortization schedule), debt payoff calculator (snowball vs. avalanche), inflation calculator, FIRE calculator (financial independence), investment strategy calculator (DCA, compound interest, comparisons), and vehicle cost calculator (TCO). All calculators are also available without signing in on the Features page.
The financial health score is a comprehensive assessment of your financial situation on a scale of 0–850. It's based on 7 components inspired by FHN/FICO/CFPB methodologies and includes analysis of savings, debt, income stability, expense consistency, and other factors. It shows strengths and weaknesses, historical trends, and percentile comparison with other users.
Yes. Each bank account can have a different currency and the system automatically converts values using daily European Central Bank exchange rates. Dashboard and report totals are displayed in your default currency. Multi-currency expenses are also supported in shared expense groups.
The AI assistant is a floating chat widget available on all dashboard pages. It has access to your financial data through 27 specialized tools and can answer questions like "How much did I spend on food last month?" or "What's my financial situation?" The AI also automatically categorizes imported transactions and generates financial reports.
Every new user receives a $2.00 USD credit for trying the AI assistant. The cost per message is displayed transparently alongside each AI response. AI transaction categorization has monthly limits by plan: Free (50), Premium (500), Max (5,000). Alternatively, you can enter your own API key for Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google Gemini in settings and pay the provider directly.
Yes. In AI settings, you can enter your own API key for Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (GPT-4o), or Google Gemini. In that case, you pay the provider directly for actual usage, with no markup from Assetli. All 27 AI tools for working with financial data work with all providers.
The MCP (Model Context Protocol) server allows you to connect your Assetli financial data to applications like Claude Desktop or Claude Code. After generating an API key in settings and simple configuration, you can communicate with your financial data directly from Claude — asking about balances, transactions, investments, and more. The same API key also works for ChatGPT Custom GPTs.
Sniper Mode is a unique AI assistant feature. Once activated, simply click on any element on the page (chart, number, table) and the AI will automatically explain what it displays in the context of your finances. It's a quick way to understand metrics and charts without having to type a question.
Click the Sign Up button and fill in your name, email, and password. You can also register with one click using your Google account. After registration, you'll receive a verification email — click the link to activate your account. The entire process takes less than a minute.
Yes. Assetli supports a multi-profile system where one user can have multiple independent financial profiles (e.g., "My finances", "Wife", "Business"). Each profile has completely separate data. The number of profiles depends on your plan: Free (1), Premium (3), Max (15). You can switch between profiles with one click in the header.
In settings, you'll find the GDPR export option, which downloads all your data in JSON format. Transactions can be exported to CSV for processing in Excel or Google Sheets. For tax purposes, investment data (stocks, crypto) and real estate data can also be exported.
You can delete your account at any time in settings under the "Danger Zone" section. Deletion requires confirmation by typing a specific phrase as a safeguard against accidental deletion. After confirmation, all your data including profiles, transactions, investments, and all other records will be permanently and irreversibly deleted.
On the sign-in page, click "Forgot your password?" and enter your email. You'll receive a time-limited link to set a new password. If the email doesn't arrive within 5 minutes, check your spam folder. If you have 2FA enabled, you'll need it after resetting your password as well.
Your financial data is stored in a secure MongoDB database. Uploaded files (documents, receipts) are stored on Cloudflare R2, a global cloud platform with high availability and security. All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS.
Assetli is developed by an independent developer specializing in AI and web technologies. Detailed information about the operator can be found in our Terms of Service. The project is built with a focus on quality, security, and transparency.
Assetli is not a regulated financial institution and does not require a banking license, as it does not work directly with bank accounts or process payments. We obtain data exclusively from CSV/PDF files that you upload yourself, or through the Wallet by BudgetBakers integration, which holds its own license and regulation for accessing banking data via Open Banking.
Access to the dashboard and financial tools requires a free registration. The Free plan is free forever and allows you to try basic features without entering a credit card. Assetli is currently a web application optimized for all devices. The dashboard is fully responsive and works great on mobile phones and tablets. We also plan to offer the option to add Assetli as a web app (PWA) to your phone's home screen for quick access without opening a browser. A native mobile app is on the long-term roadmap.
