Is Assetli free?
Yes. The Free plan is free forever and includes 1 profile, 2 bank accounts, up to 500 imported transactions per month, and full analytics. Every new user also gets a 30-day Premium trial.
Do I need to connect my bank?
No. You import transactions from a file exported from your internet banking (CSV, Excel, PDF, OFX, camt.053, MT940 and more). On paid plans you can optionally sync via Wallet by BudgetBakers (requires your own WBB Premium account).
How does AI categorization work?
AI (Claude by Anthropic) analyzes the transaction description and assigns a category. You can create custom rules, which are free and unlimited. AI categorization is available on every plan and is paid from your monthly AI credit based on actual usage (Free $0.40, Premium $3, Max $8).
Is my data safe?
Yes. Encrypted connections (HTTPS), bcrypt password hashing, 2FA authentication, and GDPR compliance. Data is hosted on MongoDB Atlas in Frankfurt (EU). We never store bank credentials.
