Frequently asked questions
Is the vacation planner free?
Yes. Planning, saving trips, multi-currency and the breakdown are free. AI features (cost suggestions, sights, budget check) count against your monthly AI limit — 50 on Free, more on Premium.
Can I enter expenses in different currencies?
Yes. Every item has its own currency and we convert to your profile currency using live exchange rates. New items default to the last currency you used.
How does 'plan vs. reality' work?
Set the trip dates and we pull your real expenses for that period from your accounts. Income and transfers between your own accounts are hidden; you tick which expenses belong to the trip and see planned vs. spent.
Can I add my own expense categories?
Yes — pick '+ New category' in an expense's category selector, type a name, and it's created and assigned. Custom categories are saved with the trip and can be deleted anytime.
Do the AI suggestions include prices?
No — invented prices were unreliable. Instead, for specific attractions AI links to the official website or tickets, so you fill in accurate amounts from the real source.
