Vacation planner

The vacation planner is a budget for one trip with two views: the plan before you go, and the reality after you come back, taken from your account.

Plan

You describe the trip: name, dates (the number of days is computed), adults and children, an optional description for the AI, a reserve percentage and what you have already saved. Then you add expense items in three ways:

• Type it yourself: name and amount.
• Suggest (AI): the model proposes items from your description of the trip or the sights of a city; for specific places it links to the official site or ticket page. It never invents prices.
• From the menu: presets, motorway vignettes, tolls, tunnels and bridges, and a taxi or ride-hailing estimate.

Each item has its own currency, converted live into your profile’s currency, and a basis: total, per person, per day, or per person per day. Round trips double the amount. Six built-in categories (transport, accommodation, food, activities, insurance, other) plus your own.

The one big number, your total budget, stays visible while you scroll.

Reality

Once the dates are set, the planner loads your expense transactions from that period. You tick the ones that belong to the trip; not every expense on those days is a holiday expense. Transfers between your accounts and savings are excluded. The result is plan versus reality per category, and the plan can be sent to a shared expense group in one click if you travelled with others.

Breakdown and tips

Averages per person, per day and per person-day; a breakdown by category and city; an AI assessment of whether the budget is low, realistic or high for the destination, group and length; and tailored warnings such as what to book ahead or which fees are commonly hidden. The AI receives your description, cities, items, dates, group size and travel mode. Assessment and tips are saved with the plan, so reopening it costs nothing; only “Recalculate” uses AI credit.

Vignettes and tolls

Vignette prices and official portals are kept for eight countries (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Switzerland, Romania, Bulgaria), with the date they were verified. Distance-based tolls are an estimate per kilometre for a passenger car, with a link to the official operator; the exact amount depends on entry and exit points and vehicle class, which the planner does not know. A weekly check verifies that the portals still exist and warns when the dataset ages.

Saving

A draft lives in your browser while you work. Saved plans belong to the profile; the Free plan keeps 3, Premium and Max unlimited. AI suggestions, assessment and tips count as AI operations against the monthly quota of your plan.
