What is Assetli
What Assetli tracks, what it deliberately does not do, and how profiles, languages, currencies and markets fit together.
Last updated: September 16, 2026
Assetli is a personal finance and household application. It keeps your money in one place: bank accounts and transactions, investments, real estate, vehicles, valuables, loans and mortgages, budgets and goals, subscriptions, and household energy. On top of that data it runs an AI assistant, both inside the app and through an MCP connection to Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini.
What Assetli is not
- Not a bank aggregator. Assetli never connects to your bank and never stores bank login credentials. Data comes in through statement imports, manual entry, or an optional sync from the Wallet by BudgetBakers app. See Importing data.
- Not a tax calculator. For investments Assetli tracks the holding-period test of your market and shows the thresholds with a link to the official source. Outside the Czech market it does not compute tax amounts, rates or contributions.
- Not an advisor. The AI explains and summarises your own data. It does not recommend specific financial products.
Profiles
One login can hold several independent financial profiles, for example “My finances”, “Partner” or “Kids”. Every account, transaction, asset and budget belongs to exactly one profile, and every query in the app is filtered by the active profile. An MCP connector is bound to one profile that you choose on the consent screen.
| Plan | Profiles |

| Premium | 5 |
| Max | 15 |
Languages, currencies and markets
These are three independent settings.
- Language: English, Czech, Slovak, Polish, German, French. The interface, emails and AI answers follow the profile language.
- Display currency: every aggregate (net worth, portfolio value, analytics) is converted into the currency chosen in Settings. Individual records keep their own currency: a EUR account stays in EUR, a USD stock stays in USD. Exchange rates come from the European Central Bank via frankfurter.app.
- Market: country-specific rules such as investment holding tests, property tax rules and energy price lists depend on the market. The market is a parameter of the operation, not a global setting: a property follows the country of its address, a tax view follows your tax residence.
