A vehicle record holds the name, type (car, motorcycle, truck, other), make, model, year, licence plate, fuel type, mileage, purchase price and current value. A leased vehicle is marked as such and is not counted in net worth; an owned vehicle is counted at its current value.
Costs
Costs are recorded per vehicle in categories: fuel, service, insurance, tax, parking, tolls and other. Recurring costs (leasing instalments, insurance) are expanded into a monthly run-rate, so the vehicle page and the AI tools show the same monthly and yearly figure.
Calculator
The vehicle cost calculator compares purchase options and fuel types over a chosen horizon. Fuel and electricity prices are pre-filled from the EU Weekly Oil Bulletin and Eurostat for your market and converted into your currency; an unknown market gets empty fields rather than a guess.
